Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) is the MNRE rule that panels and inverters in subsidised rooftop systems must be manufactured in India by an approved list of vendors. Every installation eligible for PM Surya Ghar subsidy must upload equipment serial numbers to the national portal at commissioning.
